Road Base Delivered Right To Your Door
Road base is most often used to put down under concrete and pavers. It is a mix of small particles like dirt or sand and then mixed with small rocks. This makes it so this material packs down really tight. By using a vibrating compacter with some water, it almost feels like concrete after it’s installed correctly.

Commonly Asked Questions About Gravel
What Does Trucking Cost?
Trucking prices vary on gravel based on how big of a truck we need to use and how far away the material is from the delivery location. Our small truck holds 8 tons, which is $125-$200 depending on distance. Our big trucks hold 14–15 tons and is $200-400 depending on distance for delivery. Please contact us for more accurate quotes.
How much Gravel Do I Need?
Easiest way to measure gravel is 1 ton per 100 sqft. Gravel is generally put 2-3 inches deep. If you are ordering larger sized gravel, this number goes up. When ordering gravel, understand a cubic yard is different from a ton of gravel. See question below. If you still need help, use our material calculator or contact us.
Cubic Yards vs Tons
Because road base is a heavier material than, for example, a topsoil, the measurements are different. Road base is generally ordered in tons. 3 tons of road base is about 2 cubic yards. Yards and cubic yards are the same thing. So 1 ton is about .66 cubic yards. Please call us with any questions.
