Top Soil is most commonly used for putting in sod and grading. Whether you are a landscaper or a homeowner doing your own landscaping, we are the service for you. Our trucks are big enough to hold a lot of topsoil, but small enough to get into cul-de-sacs. Customers love how fast we respond to texts and phone calls. How Much Topsoil Do I Need?
Depending on the job, 3–4 inches is the standard for sod. If you have a really rocky yard, 6 inches is recommended. Ballpark way to measure is to have 1 cubic yard per 100 square feet you are wanting to cover when doing sod. This number gets you just over 3 inches, or use our material calculator.
Pro Tip – Our dump trucks hold upto 15 yards. Closer to a full truck you order, the bigger bang or your buck.
Why You Need Topsoil
Topsoil is typically used for topsoil prep. This is for a few different reasons. Number 1 is to help with grading. There is nothing worse than mowing a bumpy lawn or rolling an ankle due to an un even turain. Another reason topsoil is needed is nutrients. When homes are built, they scrape off all the topsoil so they can build on bedrock. This makes planting grass impossible on the dirt you have now. It is important to give your grass a nice place to live so it can stay green for years to come.

Fill Dirt
Fill Dirt is our lowest-costing product. If you are looking to level ground or fill a hole, fill dirt has rocks and dirt clods that give better structure to what you are filling. Remember, fill dirt has rocks in it. Not used for sod or gardens.
Garden Soil
Our garden soil is our most premium soil product. Great for gardens and flower beds. People also using it if you are going to seed your lawn. This is a lighter and more fluffy material compared to regular screened topsoil.
